The Vernon Room

The Harland Room
Lavishly decorated in flamboyant colours reminiscent of the Georgian Period, with a West facing panoramic picture window leading out into the grounds. This room can be used for a variety of purposes including dining for 50 or civil ceremonies up to 70.
The Vernon and Harland have the benefit of a connecting door and can be used for an informal reception for up to 150 or dining for 80.
The Wellesley Suite
Situated on the lower ground floor and accessible by
stairs,
this is a wonderfully light and welcoming suite. South facing with terrace doors leading out onto open lawns, this is a perfect room for a drinks reception and licensed for civil ceremonies up to 40.
The Samford Suite
Situated on the mezzanine level and accessible by stairs, this suite provides an intimate space for dining up to 20 or an informal reception for 40.
The Shotley Room
Situated on the first floor and accessible by stairs. An elegant room with dual aspect and views of the river Orwell and Levington marina, perfect for small formal dinners accommodating up to 16.
The Board Room
This room is in the round, elegantly furnished and central to the Mansion with views across the river Orwell. Suitable for an intimate dinner for up to 16.
The Orwell
A beautiful light and airy room with dual aspect and with views across the river Orwell. Perfect for small dinner parties for up to 30.
The Atrium
A modern and contemporary full height Atrium situated in the heart of Wherstead Park. Complete with a stunning vented glass roof and adorned with six mature ficus trees, this space has an all year round temperate climate.
The Atrium is a large blank canvas for those looking for something unique with the option to room dress and create a different space and ambience.
This large room can be used for a variety of purposes including dining for 200 plus or an informal reception for 500.
The Marquee Lawn
A marquee provides a brilliant option for summer weddings and here at Wherstead Park it comes complete with 17 acres of grounds to meander through, with views down to the river Orwell and the grade II Georgian Mansion house as a backdrop.
